One person is dead after a motorcycle was found lying in a ditch in Oneida County, police said.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call at about 3:15 p.m. July 4 alerting them to the motorcycle in the ditch on Lone Pine Road in the town of Sugar Camp.
Deputies discovered the driver dead at the scene. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification. Authorities anticipate releasing the name of the driver on Monday.
