Route 51

 WAUSAU- The COVID-19 pandemic confronts every level of the economy with unprecedented fiscal fallout in every corner of the state. City leaders throughout north central Wisconsin are now faced with business closures, high unemployment and potentially crippling revenue losses. How will they cope with these challenges?   

At 10 a.m. today, July 10, Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Route 51” host Shereen Siewert welcomes Wisconsin Rapids Mayor Shane Blaser, Wausau Mayor Katie Rosenberg and Mosinee Mayor Brent Jacobson for a discussion on the impact the pandemic has had on their municipalities, from businesses to public safety to future spending plans and more.
