A 49-year-old man is facing multiple criminal charges after allegedly pulling a gun at an Adams County tavern early Saturday.

Police say patrons at Mo’s Bar and Grill, in the town of Preston, disarmed Karl Spencer after he pointed his weapon at customers. Preston was injured in the process and was treated at a local hospital before being transported to jail.

Spencer faces recommended charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, possessing a firearm as a felon and disorderly conduct while armed.

A 49-year-old Adams County man is in jail on multiple charges after the sheriff said he pulled a gun at a bar over the weekend.

Court records show Spencer has previous felony convictions in Milwaukee County.

No patrons, staff, or reporting officers were injured.

The Adams County District Attorney is handling the case.
