One person is dead and a second person is injured after a single-vehicle crash Sunday in Minocqua, according to police.
The crash was reported at 9:13 p.m. in the Minocqua Prime Restaurant parking lot on Hwy. 70.
Police say a 47-year-old passenger, identified as Corey Lee Johnson, of Stevens Point, died at the scene of the crash.
The man police believe was driving the vehicle, identified as 36-year-old Christopher Aaron Gore, also of Stevens Point, was seriously injured and was transported to the Howard Young Medical Center. Gore was later airlifted from the hospital by Spirit Air to a trauma center.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is reconstructing the accident, which remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately released.
