The Wausau American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard, comprised of 40 veterans who perform funeral honors, march in parades, support special events and other community functions to honor members of the military, is available by request.
The Honor Guard, led by Commander and U.S. Navy veteran John Pellegrino, is quick to respond when called to action. Team members alternate appearances at more than 70 funerals per year. Their first priority is to respect fallen comrades with complete military honors.
If you would like to request the Honor Guard for military honors at a veteran’s graveside service, contact your funeral home. The funeral home will coordinate the details with Post 10 Honor Guard.
