A Wausau woman who in 2016 was issued her 19th pink Cadillac from Mary Kay Cosmetics has been dropped as a consultant after being caught on camera taking down a Black Lives Matter sign on private property in Minnesota.

A Minneapolis newspaper reported last week that Linda Bergerson and her pink Cadillac were photographed July 14 after pulling over in Grand Marais to take down the Black Lives Matter signs resort owner Andy DeLisi had put up on his property.

According to the Minneapolis City Pages report, Bergerson and her husband, Tom, told a Cook County Sheriff’s deputy they wanted to “send a message” by taking down the sign. The deputy let the couple off with a warning.

But company officials at Mary Kay were not so understanding.

Company officials have confirmed that Mary Kay terminated their relationship with Bergerson, who is a former teacher, upon learning of the incident.
