Jeanette Erickson
Jeanette J. Erickson, 89, of Wausau died Monday, July 27, 2020, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born June 14, 1931, in Wausau to the late Vincent and Louise (Machyniak) Slaminski. On May 29, 1947, she married Robert Erickson at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1999.
Jean was employed as a seamstress for Herberger’s and she also worked for the D.C. Everest family where she was the guardian for their daughter for many years. However, her most rewarding responsibilities were those of homemaker and mother, enjoying time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Among her favorite pastimes Jean enjoyed going to the cottage up north and an occasional trip to the casino. She also loved sewing, knitting and flower gardening and she put her talents to work lovingly hand-crafting the floral arrangements for her grandchildren’s weddings. Jean will be remembered as a caring and generous person who will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children Robert Jr. (Karen) Erickson, Wausau and Barbara (Lyle) Bricko, Wausau; grandchildren Becky Boe, Bradley Erickson, Chad Erickson, Greg (Amy) Bricko and Ken (Olivia) Bricko; great-grandchildren Brett Boe, Brooke Boe, Lindsay Bricko, Jamison Bricko and Ian Bricko; siblings Delores Dumdey, Wausau, Larry (JoAnn) Slaminski, Alvin, Wisconsin, and Robert (Carol) Slaminski, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Jeanette was preceded in death by five siblings.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Tom Lindner will preside. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Allen Campbell
Allen Dean Campbell, 61, of Wausau died Friday, July 24, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Allen was born April 3, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Allen and Sharon (Riley) Campbell. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he initially learned to be a radio technician. Allen worked for the city of Pontiac, Michigan, in telecommunications for many years. During his time in Pontiac, Allen began his relationship with Susan Graves in 1986 and the couple were united in marriage on Sept. 17, 1993. The family moved to Wausau 17 years ago. Allen worked for Northway Communication for 12 years and for the Wisconsin State Patrol for the past five years as a network communications tech. No matter who he worked for over the years, his dedication to his job was always constant. His work took him all over the state where he always quickly made new friends.
In his free time, Allen enjoyed hitting the road on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He also liked to work on model trains, his Ham radio and relax at home.
Allen is survived by his beloved wife and companion for over 30 years, Susan; stepdaughter, Kira Hamlett; grandchildren, Edward Hamlett, Leah Hamlett and Kaitlyn Wallace; siblings, Dane Campbell, Ron Campbell and Christopher Campbell all of Michigan; his adored four-legged companions, Eby, Ruby, Tina, Larry, Lucy and Mary-Ann; many other animals and a great many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wade Campbell.

Robert Schmoldt
Robert W. Schmoldt, 47, of the town of Berlin, passed away on July 27, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a daunting five-month fight with cancer. He was born to Billie and Sandra (Reilly) Schmoldt on Jan. 11, 1973, in Ripon, Wisconsin.
Bert met the love of his life, Tracy, on New Year’s Eve of 1999 and that lead to a 20-year relationship. They were married on Sept. 22, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Wausau. Bert and Tracy valued their time together. They would take rides on the side-by-side, go out for fish fries, and relished each other’s company while outside admiring nature. From the early age of 3, Robert was shown the passion and appreciation of hunting duck, goose and deer. Many summers were spent with the family at the EAA Convention in Oshkosh as a lifelong tradition Bert followed. In the last several years he could be found out on his property working on projects in his garage, around the house or out on the tractor. He loved riding his four-wheeler, working on snowmobiles and always wanted to stay busy. He was a fan of classic country music and could identify a song and the artist by the first few notes he heard. He was a steadfast Green Bay Packers fan and also found pleasure watching movies and TV shows from his youth.
He became knowledgeable with the steel industry while working the burn table at Londerville Steel over the last 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy; mother, Sandra Schmoldt; sister, Tereesa (Daniel) Daul and children, Joshua and Larissa; sister, Susan (Dean) Marquardt and children, Hannah and MacKenzie; brother, Thomas Schmoldt; father-in-law, Chet Osowski; sister-in-law, Krisi (Chad) Gilray and children, Cain (Hanna) and Carson; and great-niece, Hadlee.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billie; mother-in-law, Carol Osowski; maternal grandparents, Donald and Crescentia Reilly; and paternal grandparents, Allen and Merle Schmoldt.
Due to the limitations of capacity for the service, the public is encouraged to attend a Friday evening visitation beginning at 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on July 31, 2020, at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at Helke Funeral Home with visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow in Rib View Cemetery, town of Stettin.

Lucille Wiedbrauk
Lucille Antonette Wiedbrauk, 82, of Schofield, Wisconsin, gained her wings and passed away peacefully on July 24 at Copperleaf Memory Care with her family by her side.
She was born on July 6, 1938, in Kimball, Wisconsin, to the late Anton and Lucy (Canalia) Merconti. After attending high school, on April 12, 1958, she married the love of her life Forrest L. Wiedbrauk. They enjoyed nearly 55 years together. He preceded her in death.
Lucille had various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening and canning. One thing she loved the most was spending time and caring for her family. She also enjoyed cooking for holidays and family celebrations in which you never left the table hungry.
Lucille will be missed by her sons Forrest and Don Wiedbrauk, her daughter Joy Trombley (Dave), her grandchildren Heather Francis (Mickey), Sheila Elj, Travis Wiedbrauk (Derika), Casandra Utecht (Mark), Sheldon Wiedbrauk (Krystal), Forrest Wiedbrauk and several great grandchildren.
We find comfort in knowing that her spirit was welcomed by her beloved husband Forrest; her son Ronald, her parents, her brother John and all other family and friends who have passed before her and who loved her as much as us.
Due to the current pandemic, the family has decided to do a celebration of life at a later date.
Cremation services will be conducted by Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Services.
Viann Klitzka
Viann M. Klitzka, 68, of Tigerton died unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2020, at her home.
Viann was born on Jan. 26, 1952, in Outagamie County, the daughter of Alois and Dennise (Gorman) Delzer.
On Dec. 10, 2016, Viann was united in marriage to Roger Klitzka at the Wittenberg Community Center.
Viann was a waitress and cook for many years until her retirement. She worked at the former Gus and Ann’s Restaurant in Wittenberg, the Harvest Restaurant in Wittenberg and the Bluebird Cafe in Clintonville. She enjoyed crafts and enjoyed sharing her talents at Santa’s Workshop. Viann enjoyed baking, flowers and going to rummage sales. She loved traveling and roadtrips, her favorite place to visit was Mackinac Island.
Viann is survived by her husband, Roger; sisters, Betty (Ken) Bauman, Lois (Greg) Alfheim and Carleen (Roger) Eckardt; brother-in-law, Jerry Clauson; children, Karen Henry, Ann (Paul) Oelerich and Roger (Kristine) Klitzka Jr.; six grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew (Emma), Alex, Nick, Dane and Danielle; one special great grandson Keaton and nieces and nephews, Dan (Diane) Lemke, Nathan (Erin) Delzer, Dacian Ledman, Jennifer (Terry) Zielke, Jesse (Tara Lynn) Delzer, Jill (friend Jason) Delzer, Patrick (Stacy) Pukall, Nick (Jasmine) Pukall, Penny (Jesse) Eldres, Rebecca (Josh) Behreandt, James (Amanda) Eckardt and Jodi (Charlie) Klinner.
Viann was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wilbert Delzer; and a sister, Karen Clauson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Rev. Clifford Kessen will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home with social distancing being practiced.

Patricia Tomson
Patricia A. Tomson, 72, of Birnamwood, died on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.
Pat was born on May 1, 1948, in Antigo, the daughter of George and Margaret (Stefanski) Medo.
On Dec. 2, 1967, Pat was united in marriage to David Tomson at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood.
Pat and David farmed with their family for many years. She was happy and proud that they were able to pass the farm down to their son. Pat was a hard worker and always enjoyed a cold beer after chores. Pat had a green thumb and kept beautiful flower gardens. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, deer hunting, picking mushrooms and tending to her flowers. Pat was an excellent cook and venison was her specialty. A highlight for Pat, was a wonderful trip to Germany that she went on with her daughter two years ago. Pat always put her family first and will be deeply missed.
Pat is survived by her husband, David; two children, Darlene (Dave) Barnes and Daniel (Marcy) Tomson, all of Birnamwood; seven grandchildren, Devin (Megan), Dylan and Dane Barnes and Eric, Dustin, Danica and Daniel Tomson; siblings, Evelyn (Mike) Hayes of Baraboo and Shirley Niemuth of Birnamwood and a special friend and brother-in-law, Norman Behn.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sharon Behn and Frances Medo and a brother Jerry Medo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Friday, July 31, 2020, at St. Florian’s Catholic Church, Hatley. Fr. Gregory Bohren will preside. Social distancing will be practiced and the mass will be limited to 75 attendees. Burial will be in the Parish cemetery.
