A 68-year-old Medford man is dead after an ATV crash Friday in Lincoln County, officials said.
At 9:25 a.m. Friday the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call alerting them to an ATV crash on County Road M and Tower Road in the town of Corning.
Deputies, along with wardens from the DNR, Merrill Fire Department ambulance, and Corning Fire and first responders responded to the property.
Deputies and wardens believe the man was riding his four wheeler on his property the day before when he struck a cable stretched across the driveway.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by Lincoln County Coroner Paul C. Proulx. The name of the victim will be released Saturday afternoon.
