An 87-year-old Merrill woman was injured in a single vehicle rollover in the Lincoln County town of King, officials said Monday.
The crash happened Thursday on County Hwy. A near Mable Highland Drive. Police say the driver, a 57-year-old Merrill man, swerved to avoid several deer standing on the highway when his vehicle left the roadway and flipped.
The victim, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was extricated by Tomahawk firefighters before being transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital.
The woman’s injuries are not life threatening, police said.
No names were released.
