MERRILL – Do you have personal documents, such as cancelled checks, bank statements, or credit card receipts and statements, that need to be confidentially and securely destroyed to protect against potential identity theft? You can have them shredded during shred day from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Aug. 29 at the Kindhearted Home Care parking lot, 120 S. Mill St. (Enter the alleys off East Main or Scott Street.)

Your documents will be loaded into a truck and shredded as you watch. A statement of proper disposal will be available.

A suggested minimum donation is $5 per box or bag, with a limit of five. Those with larger quantities are asked to make an appointment.
