Police in Waupaca County are working to identify human remains discovered Sunday in the town of Lind.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call just after 4 p.m. Sunday reporting the discovery and confirmed the remains are human.
The town of Lind is south of Hwy. 10 in Waupaca County.
Multiple agencies are assisting the department including the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation, the State Patrol, and the Wisconsin State Crime Lab.
Additional details have not been released.
