AbbyBank, Peace Lutheran Church help Fill a Backpack Fill a Need

AbbyBank in Abbotsford, Wausau and Weston and Peace Lutheran Church in the town of Frankfort recently collected money for the United Way of Marathon County’s Fill a Backpack Fill a Need program.

Money raised will be used to help buy backpacks and classroom supplies for the upcoming school year.

The Fill a Backpack Fill a Need program helps all students in need in the Marathon County schools; Abbotsford and Colby included.

“Thanks to Peace Lutheran Church, we were able to purchase over 20 backpacks and over $400 in supplies to fill them,” said Natalyn Jannene, assistant vice president of marketing for AbbyBank.
