About 75 people gathered Saturday in Wausau to mark the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
Many demonstrators donned historical outfits before gathering on The 400 Block, then marching to the Marathon County Historical Society in Wausau.
The Amendment was ratified by Tennessee legislators on Aug. 18, 1920 but was one of many milestones in the struggle for suffrage.
