The Badger State Summer Games’ will feature BMX racing this weekend, allowing athletes of all ages and abilities to compete for medals. Gold, silver and bronze medal winners are then eligible to compete in the State Games of America in Ames, Iowa in 2022.

On Aug. 22, athletes will compete in BMX racing under the lights at the home of the Central Wisconsin BMX Club. This race is part of a five-race BMX Summer Series of racing around Wisconsin. 

Registration runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with racing to start around 8 p.m. A Special Exhibition race for BMX Senior Division athletes of 30 years of age and older will also be featured. Covid-19 precautions will be in place but because of the outdoor venue, masks are not required. They are encouraged, however.
