The Samoset Council BSA Sporting Clays Fundraiser Shoot took place Aug. 7 at the Wausau Skeet and Trap Club, which often supports the Scouts fundraising efforts.
Eleven teams shot the 12-station, 75-bird course and seven youth trap participants helped operate the manual traps.
Organizations that have benefited from the Wausau Skeet and Trap Club’s fundraisers include Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Never Forgotten Honor Flight, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and Patriot’s K-9 of Wisconsin.
