WAUSAU – As part of its 2020 election coverage, Wisconsin Public Radio will host the candidates seeking to represent Wisconsin’s 87th Assembly District. 

Richard Pulcher-D, Lublin, and incumbent James Edming-R, Glen Flora, will debate during “Route 51” at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 21, on The Ideas Network Stations of Wisconsin Public Radio. The broadcast will air on the following The Ideas Network Stations: 99.1 Stevens Point, 89.1 Adams-Wisconsin Rapids, AM 930 Auburndale, 100.9 Marshfield, 91.9 and 101.3 Wausau, 90.3 Park Falls, and 89.9 Rhinelander. 

The debate will be moderated by WPR’s Dean Kallenbach. The 87th District includes Rusk and Taylor counties, as well as parts of Sawyer, Marathon and Clark counties. Cities in the district include Medford, Ladysmith, Hayward and Stanley. The villages of Athens, Stetsonville, Gilman, Hawkins, Radisson, Sheldon, Weyerhaeuser, Exeland, Lublin, Tony, Glen Flora, Ingram, Couderay and Dorchester are also part of the district.
