Members of the Marathon County Dive Team are searching for a missing 21-year-old man who jumped from a boat on Lake DuBay Friday and did not surface.
Crews responded at about 6:25 p.m. Friday to a 911 call reporting the man missing. Witnesses say the man could not swim.
Recreational deputies patrolling Lake DuBay marked the man’s last known location and a search began Friday.
But rescue workers were forced to call off the search late Friday due to darkness and incoming storms. The search resumed Saturday morning.
The missing man’s name has not been released.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Mosinee Fire/EMS Department, MEDIVAC Helicopter from Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
