A combination Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins ice cream store will open next month in Wausau, according to a news release from Lokre Companies and Dairyland Operations, LLC.

The new store, located adjacent to the newly opened Tommy’s Express Car Wash at 110 W. Bridge St., features donuts, coffee drinks, sandwiches and ice cream. Opening is set for after Labor Day with a grand opening celebration to be announced in the coming weeks.

Louis Lessor, marketing manager for Dairyland Operations, LLC, said the group is thrilled to add employment opportunities for the community.

This is the second Dunkin’/Baskin-Robins location for the companies, which expect to hire 35 employees for the new store. There are two existing Dunkin’ stores in the greater Wausau area.

“What an exciting addition to the Greater Wausau area, donuts, ice cream, great coffee and food in one location, “said Victor Anderson, director of brokerage and property management for Lokre Companies.

Store hours will be 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
