The Newman Catholic soccer team defeated Northland Lutheran Thursday in a Central Wisconsin Conference matchup.
The final score was 1-0. Newman’s Nick Townsend scored the sole goal of the game, unassisted, at 74:27.
Northland’s Karsten Zart racked up four saves, while Newman’s Owen Reeves had three.
