Wausau residents are now under a tornado watch.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for multiple Wisconsin counties including Marathon, effective until 11 p.m Wednesday.
Widespread severe wind gusts of 60-75 mph along with at least a few tornadoes are possible.
Wausau Pilot & Review will continue to monitor the weather situation throughout the evening.
