Wausau Pilot & Review

MERRILL – Noah Peterson had a hat trick, and Tristan Reissmann had two goals and an assist to lead the Marshfield boys hockey team to an 8-3 win over Wausau East/Merrill in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Thursday at the Merrill Recreation Center.

Graydon Anderson, Payton Smith and Tyler Reissmann added goals for the Tigers, who are now 9-7-1 overall and 3-4 in the WVC.

Vincent Neuman-Knuckles scored twice and Colton Betro added a goal for the Bluejacks.

Jake Furrer made 50 saves in goal for East/Merrill (1-14, 0-7 WVC), which was outshot by Marshfield 58-16.

Marshfield hosts D.C. Everest on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
