Wausau Pilot & Review

WAUSAU – Brody Brimacombe had a goal and two assists, and goalie Adam Prokop saved all 25 shots he saw as the Wausau West boys hockey team blanked D.C. Everest 4-0 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Thursday at the Marathon Park Ice Arena.

Brimacombe, Mason Debroux, Connor Wendell and Judah Leder scored goals for Wausau West, which improves to 12-4-2 overall and remains perfect in the WVC with a 7-0 record.

Breyden Sabatke had 50 saves in goal for D.C. Everest, which drops to 8-9 overall and 2-5 in the WVC.

Both teams hit the road for Wisconsin Valley Conference games on Tuesday. D.C. Everest will play at Marshfield and West plays at Wisconsin Rapids.
