A portion of Marathon County’s snowmobile and winter ATV trails will close Sunday, parks officials said.
The trails that will close are in Zone 3, which is south of Wausau in the Kronenwetter area. The map, below, shows the closure, which begins at 10 p.m. Sunday, will remain in effect until further notice.
Remaining Zone 3 trails allow for travel through Zones 1 and 2, which remain open. The remainder of snowmobile trails within Marathon County are continuing to be evaluated.
