Police have identified the man who died died late Sunday in a single-vehicle crash as 30-year-old Colton Siegler, of Stevens Point.
Siegler died at the scene of the crash, which was reported at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday in the area of Country Club Drive and Kirschling Court in Stevens Point. Police say the Siegler collided with a light pole and several trees, resulting in severe damage to the vehicle. A passenger, 45-year-old Brenda Haferman, of the town of Grant, was injured in the crash.
Haferman was transported to a local hospital for treatment and survived her injuries, police said.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
