Significant incidents reported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department over the past week:

A 40 year old Tomahawk woman was injured when her snowmobile left the trail and struck a tree in the Town of Harrison Monday evening.  She was airlifted to a local hospital. 

A 30 year old Wisconsin Rapids woman was arrested Monday evening on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, felony bail jumping, 3 counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and operating a motor vehicle after revocation following a traffic stop on County Rd K near USH 51.  A 36 year old Wausau man was also arrested following the traffic stop on felony probation and parole warrant.

Two inmates of the Lincoln County Jail are facing charges following an altercation in the jail Tuesday morning.  A 26 year old Merrill man was charged with disorderly conduct and a 25 year old Merrill man was charged with disorderly conduct and strangulation/suffocation following the incident. 

A 24 year old Merrill man was arrested on charges of bail jumping, disorderly conduct, battery, and criminal damage to property following an incident in the Town of Merrill Tuesday evening. 

A 42 year old Tomahawk man was cited for operating a snowmobile while intoxicated and refusal to take chemical test after deputies responded to a snowmobile crash in the Town of Bradley Thursday night. 

A 52 year old New London, WI man received non-life-threatening injuries following a snowmobile crash Friday afternoon in the Town of Russell. 

Deputies responded to 20 vehicles in the ditch, 10 property damage crashes and 2 crashes with minor injuries as a result of Friday’s snow storm.

A 53 year old Mosinee woman received minor injuries following a snowmobile crash in the Town of Scott Saturday afternoon. 

A 68 year old Merrill man was stopped and cited for traveling 82mph on Fairview Rd in the Town of Scott Saturday evening. 

A 30 year old New Berlin, WI man was arrested for second offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated early Sunday morning after a deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch on USH 51 north of Merrill. 

A 26 year old Mosinee man was arrested Sunday night on charges of criminal trespass, burglary and 5 counts of bail jumping after he was located in a home in the Town of Merrill.
