Through May 27, young writers between the ages of 9 and 18 are invited to submit original, unpublished poems for MCPL’s youth poetry contest. There’s no limit on the length, and each person can enter two poems. Entrants must be Marathon County residents. Submit entries to [email protected] or drop them off in person at any MCPL location. The library’s Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild, will host a stuffed animal sleepover on March 10. Kids can drop off one of their stuffed animals at the branch any time between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The stuffed friend will stay overnight at the library and can then be picked up the next day.
