Wausau Pilot & Review

A 60-year-old Wild Rose man was arrested Monday by a trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol-Wausau Post for his ninth drunken-driving charge, officials said.

In a news release, State Patrol officials say Charles R. Donald will face the felony charge along with a citation for driving with a revoked license. He was placed on a probation and parole hold.

Troopers responded just after noon on Wednesday to a report of a vehicle runoff on 17th Drive, north of County Hwy. MM in Waushara County and allegedly observed that Donald was impaired, the release states. Donald underwent field sobriety testing before being arrested, officials said.

Official charges have not yet been filed.

You are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
