STEVENS POINT – The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will host Irish band Gaelic Storm and Grammy Award-winning country singer John Berry on campus this March.

Gaelic Storm will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 9 in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point. The band, which appeared in the film “Titanic,” blends Celtic traditions and rock music and has been first on the Billboard World Chart seven times.

Berry will perform “An Intimate Evening of Stories and Songs” at 7:30 p.m. March 11 at the Laird Room in the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point.

Berry has been a singer and songwriter for 40 years. His most recent single, “The Richest Man,” is from his newest album, “Thomas Road.” He has earned multiple gold and platinum records over the years and won a Grammy Award in 1996 for his work in “Amazing Grace: A Country Salute to Gospel Vol. 1.”

Tickets for each show are $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door, plus service fees. Tickets may be purchased at the Dreyfus University Center Information and Tickets Office, online at tickets.uwsp.edu or by calling 715-346-4100.

Face coverings will be required indoors on campus for both performances.
