The 2022 Forrest’s Run, scheduled for June 18, has been canceled because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic in the fall of 2021, the time plans for the annual event are finalized.
“With all of the uncertainty still surrounding us related to the virus at that time, we were unable to make a determination as to our ability to safely conduct the run,” said Steve Goetsch, president, Forrest Goetsch Charities.
Organizers of the event will now look ahead to 2023, specifically June 17, 2023. This will provide the best way for them to deliver the high-quality experience that our participants and sponsors have grown to love, Goetsch said.
Even in the absence of the Run, Forrest Goetsch Charities continues to support various programs, such as Rothschild PD K-9 program for the Community.
