A portion of First Avenue will be under construction for concrete pavement repairs beginning Wednesday, May 24.
Wausau announced the lane closures Monday in a traffic bulletin.
Traffic will be restricted to a single lane between Stewart Avenue and Bridge Street while construction is underway. Repairs will take about three weeks to complete.
