State sues garment company at the center of labor turmoil for unpaid wages

Crushin’ It Promotions LLC, a Madison sportswear manufacturer, is being sued by the Wisconsin Department of Justice for wage theft, involving unpaid back wages and penalties. The owner, Jeremy Kruk, is accused of disregarding NLRB orders, firing unionized workers, transferring assets to dodge liabilities, and rendering the company insolvent. The lawsuit seeks to prioritize the Department of Workforce Development’s lien against any assets, including those moved to successor companies, to address unpaid claims.
