WAUSAU – Wausau West pitcher Kaitlyn Butler held River Falls to three hits and she also had two hits and scored three times on offense as the Warriors won a nonconference softball game 12-2 on Friday at West High School.
Butler struck out four and walked just two as the Warriors improve to 9-5 with the home win.
Addie Heil and Molly Muschinske both had three hits, with Heil driving in three runs for West.
Wausau West hosts Marshfield in Wisconsin Valley Conference action Monday at 5 p.m.
