MOSINEE — A small plane with 11 passengers on board safely arrived at Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee after a problem with the aircraft’s landing gear forced an emergency landing.
The C-47 aircraft was en route from EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh to attend the Warbird Rendezvous at the Central Wisconsin Airport, which was held Wednesday.
The pilot is from Florida.
Emergency crews from Mosinee, SAFER, Riverside, Kronenwetter, Stratford, and Wausau responded to the scene.
