WESTON — Intercity State Bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new location in Weston on Thursday, June 20.

“In 1990, Intercity State Bank acquired a site and existing building in the retail area of Schofield Avenue in Weston,” said Randy Balk, President/CEO at Intercity State Bank. “This structure was then remodeled and converted into a bank branch. In the spring of 2024, construction of a new office was completed on the frontage of this same property and the former branch was demolished once the new facility was open for business.”

“This significant investment affirms Intercity’s strong belief in, and commitment to the future vitality of our area,” said Balk. “For more than 70 years we have continued to provide business and retail customers high quality banking services.”

Intercity State Bank is an independent community bank with a unique approach to its customers. The bank has been serving Schofield and the surrounding since its charter in 1952.
