WAUSAU – The Wausau Post 10 Legion Patriots softball team completed a four-game sweep of Antigo on Wednesday night at Sunnyvale Park after the Junior team won 9-2 and the Senior team was victorious 10-0.
Both teams also won at Antigo on Tuesday.
In the Junior game, Nora Hintz threw a complete game with two strikeouts and five hits allowed in four innings.
Gabi Heuser went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI, Adee Beversdorf added two RBI and two runs, and Claire Gille also scored twice in the win for Wausau.
The Senior team won 10-0 for the second-straight night over Antigo as Tristen Young struck out eight and allowed just one hit in the complete-game five-inning shutout.
Allison Kirsch hit a home run and two RBI, and Young and Claire Coushman both had two hits and three RBI in the victory.
Wausau is back in action Tuesday at Central Wisconsin Edge.
