Beginning May 1, motorists on eastbound Hwy. 29 between Marathon County Hwy. H and Martin Lane can expect a single lane closure and a speed reduction to 55 mph, according to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release.

Crews are performing routine maintenance and repairing damaged concrete pavement.

Work is scheduled for completion before the end of the day on Thursday, June 8. The schedule is subject to change based on favorable weather conditions and construction status.
