WAUSAU — Multiple police units converged Monday morning in the parking lot of B&R Bar in the 1500 block of 6th Street in Wausau.
Witnesses called Wausau Pilot & Review between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. who reported seeing police with guns drawn. The scene was cleared by about 11:30 a.m.
Wausau Police Capt. Ben Bliven said the department was assisting the Marathon County Special Investigations Unit with an arrest on a drug-related case. No additional information was immediately available.
