SHAWANO COUNTY — A 38-year-old man driving the wrong way on Hwy. 29 was killed Friday, along with two children who were riding in an oncoming vehicle.
Police said Brian E. Bishop of Bonduel was driving a Dodge minivan eastbound in the westbound lane of the highway near Limestone when he struck another vehicle head on. that vehicle was driven by Mary S. Wester of Manitowoc and was carrying five children.
Bishop died as a result of his injuries, as did a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, whose names are not being released because they are juveniles.
Wester and three other children who were riding in her vehicle were injured but are expected to recover, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
