WAUSAU – Seven finalists have been named for the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Manufacturing Excellence Awards. The Chamber will hold an award ceremony honoring manufacturers that have demonstrated excellence in their business from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17 at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Rothschild.
Jeff Thelen of WSAW/WZAW will serve as the emcee for the event.
The event is part of the Chamber’s celebration of Manufacturing Month in the state and will recognize a recipient in both a small to medium-sized manufacturer category and a large manufacturer category. The recipient will have displayed excellence in contributing to the growth in the region’s economy, operations, innovation, workplace culture, quality jobs, supply chain management and commitment to the region.
