This Sunday, Monk Botanical Gardens will host a 6-hour yoga event to support hurricane relief efforts nationwide.

Yoga sessions, 45-minutes each, will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday and will run until 4 p.m., according to Kerri Spromberg of the Wausau Area Yoga Association.

Freewill donations will be forwarded to the American Red Cross for relief efforts for hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.

Sessions will be coordinated by the Yoga Association, as follows:

*10 – 10:45am – Vinyasa flow with Ashlie Zeidler

*11- 11:45am – Family Yoga with Jessie Robinson

*12 – 12:45pm – Yoga for All with Robyn Bretl

*1 – 1:45pm – Slow flow with Ann Mead

*2 – 2:45pm – Children’s Yoga with Jamy Klopotic

*3- 3:45pm – Family Yoga with Kerri Spromberg

Gigi Heinz will serve as transition coordinator.

The entrance gate to the Monk Botanical gardens is located at the north end of First Ave., on Wausau’s west side. The gate is latched to keep the deer out, but the garden is open from dawn to dusk every day.
