TOWN OF CORNING — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in the town of Corning, Lincoln County officials said Monday.

The crash happened Wednesday afternoon on Tower Road, when an 81-year-old driver slid through a stop sign and struck a westbound vehicle and suffered minor injuries, police said. The 64-year-old driver and 63-year-old passenger in the westbound vehicle were both injured in the crash.

No additional information was immediately available on the crash, and police did not say if any citations were issued.
