Bernice “Bernie” Raugh
Bernice “Bernie” June Raugh, 88, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away at her home on Monday, February 19, 2018. Formerly of Wausau, WI, she had been a seasonal resident of Bonita Springs for 23 years and became a full time resident in 2016. She was born November 21, 1929 in Stratford, WI, the daughter of Melvin and Sophie (née Schnelle) McCrory.
Mrs. Raugh is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Calvert Charles Raugh; her beloved daughters, Patrice M. Dolan of Bonita Springs, FL, Linda A. Allen of Bonita Springs, FL, Holly T. (Gary) Trembath of Wausau, WI, Susan E. (Eric) Kramer of Shoreview, MN and Julie M. Greiber of Madison, WI; nine cherished grandchildren, Ryan Allen, Jason Colcord, Jared Colcord, Kate Demien, Molly Stenger, Ben Kramer, Evan Kramer, Charlie Greiber and Bryce Greiber; and seven treasured great grandchildren, Shaun and Austin Allen, Charlie Belle Colcord, A.J. and Katie Stenger, Lydia and Eli Demien.
The family would like to honor Cavette Henry, her full time home caregiver of the last six months.
A Memorial service will be handled by Brainard Funeral Home in Wausau, Wisconsin at a later date and will be announced.
Local arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home.
Virginia Schulz
Virginia Schulz, loving mom and longtime resident of Rothschild, died February 20, 2018. Gina, age 89, died at Rennes Nursing Home in Appleton after contracting pneumonia onset by the flu.
She was a member of St. Therese parish. As health declined, and needs for care increased, she moved to Appleton to be closer to daughter, Marie, since both sons now reside in Texas. Gina was born October 3, 1928 to John and Helen Wojciechowski. She married her love, Donald Schulz, December 27, 1947.
Gina worked at Johnson Hill’s Department store in the men’s suit area.
Gina was a wonderful mom and homemaker. She could be found in the garden or in the kitchen cooking and canning.
Mom loved the outdoors; she and dad spent decades camping and fishing in the Woodruff area on Caroll Lake. She proudly displayed her biggest catch, a 39 inch, 15 pound Tiger Muskie in her den. After fishing season ended, she and dad would take to the roads for a drive. Mom had a sense of direction second to none. She could navigate any county road without a map; her skillful expertise and ‘backseat driving skills’ were unmatched. Often these trips would mean a stop at the casino, where mom would more often than not leave with a winning jackpot!
Gina was preceded in death by her husband Don, son James, and a brother Clarence (Woody). She is survived by a sister Alice Calkins, brothers JJ (Lola), Hank (Eileen), and Hubie (Gerry), daughter Marie, sons Tony & Mark, 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-granddaughter.
A memorial service for Gina will be held at Brainard Funeral Home’s Everest Chapel on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10 am, with a gathering from 9 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up. Online condolences may be expressed at brainardfuneral.com
Lyle Leith
Lyle R. Leith, 77, died February 20, 2018 at his home.
He was born July 15, 1940 in Rhinelander, son of the late Marvin and Elizabeth (Rausch) Leith. On July 28, 1962 he married Sandra Dalbec in Wausau. She survives.
Lyle enjoyed getting his hands dirty working on cars, and always took time to invite friends and family into his home for coffee. Above all he loved “his girls” which included his wife, daughters and granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Leith; children, Kathrine Leith and Beth Leith; grandchildren, Brittany (Kristoffer) Eidnes and Ashlyn Smith; sister, Barbara Kitsembel of Wausau; brother, James (Phyllis) Leith of Janesville; sister-in-law, Mary Lou McCarten of Wausau, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tamela Leith and infant granddaughter, Amber Leith Matonich.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Jeffrey Martinson will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.

Betty Mueller
Betty J. Mueller, 87, Wausau died Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home.
She was born March 7, 1930 in Wausau, daughter of the late George F. Obermeier and Helen (Scutkowski) Schmitz and beloved stepdaughter to Mynard Schmitz. On June 23, 1951 she married Robert E. Mueller at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2002.
Betty was a homemaker, grandmother, great grandmother and enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed trips to the casino, was a frequent flyer on the casino bus and she also enjoyed sewing, caring for others and all kinds of music, especially Polka music.
Survivors include her son, James Mueller, Wausau, one granddaughter, Amanda (Seth), Bessette, Ellijay, GA, three great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, KiAnna and Seth Bessette, one sister-in-law, Verlene Obermeier, Milwaukee and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, stepfather and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Romaine Obermeier and two sisters, Delores Roberts-Werner and Marianne Knuth.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon, February 28, 2018 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Nathaniel Kuhn will preside. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Paul Fay
Paul E. Fay, 53, Wausau, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his home.
He was born January 31, 1965 in Great Lakes, Ill., son of Kathleen (McDonald) Fay of Wausau and the late Paul Fay. Paul married Cheryl Coulouris on June 25, 1988 in Merrimack, NH.
Since 2005, Paul has worked for Piper Products, Inc. in Wausau as Vice President of Sales. Paul was the New Hampshire State President of the U.S. Jaycees from 1989 until 1990 and the National Vice President from 1990 until 1991. He was a member of the Wausau Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf. Among other favorite pastimes, he liked to go boating, fishing, cooking for family and friends, and traveling. Throughout his life, Paul traveled to every state in the U.S. except Alaska. Paul was a huge Patriots fan and an avid reader.
Survivors include, his loving wife of 29 years, Cheryl Fay, Wausau; three children, Sean, Stephanie and Ryan, all of Wausau; his mother, Kathleen, Wausau; one sister, Colleen Fay, Elgin, IL; mother-in-law, Barbara Coulouris, Wausau; father-in-law, William Coulouris and his wife Sandy, Fort Meyers, FL; two brothers-in-law, Kevin Coulouris, Weare, NH and Keith Coulouris, Valley Village, CA; two uncles, Mike Fay and his wife Debbie, Mundelein, IL and Fred Fay, Naperville, IL; two nephews, Jackson and Alec Coulouris, Valley Village, CA; and many friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by an informal prayer and memories shared at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau.

Dolorosa (Dolly) Conway, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in Rothschild on February 21, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Jacob and Helen (Ladell) Schillinger on August 8, 1926. She married Elvin in 1950 in Madison, WI. He preceded her in death in 1973.
While raising her children Dolly was able to finish and receive her degree in Library Science from UW Stevens Point in 1976. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Wausau, where she was proud to be involved with their Soup Kitchen during Lent for many years. She loved to travel, enjoyed playing Bridge, and was an avid reader. Dolly showed her love by welcoming all to her home, sharing food and conversation, and making everyone feel special. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children; Mark (Debra) Conway, Linda (William) Seidl, Kathleen (Leo Goede) Conway, David Conway, Susan (David) Folz, and Scott (Lisa) Conway; and twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Elvin, siblings; June Farnsworth, William Schillinger, Janice Boerner; and seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on February 26, 2018 at CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION CATHOLIC CHURCH 621 N 2nd St., Wausau. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:00 with Fr. Mark Pierce officiating. On Tuesday, February 27, 2018 a Grave Side Committal will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead, WI. at noon.
A special thanks to mom’s care providers especially Shirley, Teri, Jean, Bonnie and Tammy. We know mom considered all of you as family. Our appreciation for your physical, emotional and spiritual care of our mom cannot be expressed in words. We are grateful for the agencies (TLC, Alden Care and Aspirus Hospice and Palliative Care) that provided wonderful care givers also. All of you enhanced mom’s life in your own special relationship with her. Dolly’s children.
