Three people were injured in two Merrill-area crashes over the weekend, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
Both crashes happened Saturday afternoon, police said.
First, a 49-year-old Merrill woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Hwy. C at Anna Road in the town of Merrill, police said. The woman, whose name has not been released, was hospitalized and in fair condition as of Sunday evening.
Two people were injured in a second crash, a single-vehicle rollover on Hwy. 51 north of Hwy. C in the town of Merrill. Police say the occupants of the vehicle, who were from Minocqua, suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.
