Viola Raduechel
Viola Anna Raduechel, 90, Schofield, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Rennes Health and Rehab, Weston, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Lakewood, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Anna (Olsafsky) Vercimak.
Viola’s first job was at the Wausau Paper Mill, Brokaw, where she met the love of her life, Walter Raduechel. They were married on Oct. 14, 1950, at a small rural church in Dancy, Wisconsin. Following her marriage, Viola held a variety of positions to include, working at Marathon Battery, cleaning at Backer & Backer Eye Clinic, cooking at Zion Lutheran School in Wausau for 20 years and then for Marriott Courtyard until 2014.
Among her favorite pastimes, Viola loved cooking, polka dancing, arranging wedding bouquets and traveling and camping with Walter. Two of her most memorable trips were a Caribbean cruise with Walter and a trip to Italy with her dear friend Patricia.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindi (Mark) Mugavero, Rothschild, and Melody (Jay) Schoenborn, Schofield; one son, Jon (Lori) Raduechel, Wausau; seven grandchildren, Tania (Tom) Hargraves, Raquel (Jeff) Zibton, Shannon (Alissa) Lodholz, Nathanial (Byran) Raduechel, Tyler (Sara) Raduechel, Cody Schoenborn and Kelsey Raduechel; eight great-grandchildren, Austin and Cailin Hargraves, Dawson and Morgan Zibton, Brydon Robins, Cameron Lodholz, and Autumn and Kash Raduechel; two brothers, David (Barbara) Vercimak, Wautoma and Ronald Vercimak, Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; one son, Gary Lee Raduechel; and one sister, Jean Gerstl.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Zach Holdorf will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Angelina Sykora
Angelina D. Sykora, 61, Wausau, formerly of the town of Deerbrook, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Benedictine Living Community, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born Nov. 12, 1956, in Wisconsin. On July 16, 1977, she married Ronald Sykora in Gleason. He survives.
Angelina was a 1975 graduate of Antigo High School and furthered her education, attending Northcentral Technical College in Wausau for one year. For 41 years, she worked at Marathon Electric Corp. in Wausau in data entry and then in the industrial engineering department. She was a volunteer for Junior Achievement, past president of the Western Fraternal Life Lodge No. 227, Deerbrook, and a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Wausau.
Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed music, teaching piano lessons and going out for breakfast on Sunday mornings with her husband, Ron. Angelina also loved her kitties, Sam, Max and Maxie.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ron Sykora, Wausau; her brother, Tom of Alaska; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Ed and Sarah Franc.
Private services will be held at a later date.

Mary Jane Neuendank
Mary Jane Neuendank, 85, of Aniwa, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Ascension Saint Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
Mary Jane was born March 3, 1933, to the late Anton and Ann (Nezda) Gureski in Hatley. She married Otto Neuendank on June 18, 1952, at St. Florian in Hatley. He preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2008.
Mary Jane and her husband, Otto, for many years owned and operated Uncle Otto’s Bar in Ringle. They made many friends and enjoyed the memories working there. She was a wonderful homemaker, taking time for family and watching it grow. With loving hands, she prepared countless meals and was always willing to help family and friends alike. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays. Mary Jane loved to decorate her house and yard. In more recent years she loved her “grand-dog” and “Kitty” as part of her growing family.
Survivors include her children, Rodney “Tiny” (Linda) Neuendank, Aniwa, Carol (Patrick) McMahon, Larry “Mort” (Bonnie) Neuendank, both of Weston and Michael (Debbie) Neuendank, town of Hewitt; seven grandchildren, Brenda, Becky (Mike Maus), Patrick, Dana, Jason, Brad and Amber; fourteen great-grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Damien, Brianna, Alex, Foster, Conner, Anna, Dylan, Lilee, Bella, Jett, Chloe and Parker; two great-great grandsons, Dawson and Ryder; two brothers, Eugene and Larry; and a sister, Pat. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan and a brother, James.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Rev. Greg Bohren presided. Burial was at the church cemetery. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ascension Saint Clare’s Hospital for their care and kindness, not only to Mary Jane but to her family during her short stay. Special heartfelt thanks and gratitude to her son Tiny, his wife Linda and their daughter Becky for having and caring for “Mom” at their home these past three years.

Ruth Kluetz
Ruth Lydia Kluetz passed away peacefully at Mount View Care Center on July 24, 2018, at 97.
Ruth was born May 28, 1921, in the town of Stettin to the late Ernest and Laura (Neitzke) Mathwich. On Oct. 25, 1941, she was joined in marriage to Clarence Kluetz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Stettin. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1994.
Ruth was a special Mom and Grandma and enjoyed gatherings whenever her family could be together. She took great joy in her grandchildren. The many Christmas Eve celebrations will be cherished memories for her family. She was a wonderful baker and cook – her homemade vegetable soup was the best! She also loved her flower gardens and feeding the birds. Ruth truly loved her family and she also loved her church. She had a strong faith in God which she instilled in her children. For 35 years, she and Clarence served as custodians at First English Lutheran Church. After Clarence passed away, Ruth continued her custodial work and enjoyed volunteering as well. Her favorite was the Altar Guild, which she took great pride in.
Ruth is survived by her eight children, Jerry (Jean), Schofield, David (Ruth Ann), Marinette, Jane (Wayne) Schalow, Wausau, Dale (Patricia), Plover, Kathi Bittner, Marilyn, Debra, and Sue (Neil) Juedes, all of Wausau; daughter-in-law Alice (John) Hielsberg, Iola; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Jeanette Mathwich, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Clarence, she was preceded in death by one son, Phil, one daughter, Barbara, one grandson, John, one brother, Gordon, and her five sisters Johanna, Margaret, Dorothy, Naomi and Gladys.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at First English Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Reverend Erik Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Rib View Cemetery, town of Stettin. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, and again from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the church. Norman Lemmer
Norman Lemmer, 85, died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 21, 1933, in Edgar, Wisconsin, to the late Aloys and Frances (Hornung) Lemmer. On April 19, 1958, he married Mary Ann Schantz at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Mosinee, and they celebrated their 60th anniversary this year. Norman served two years in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1958. He worked for Pauly Cheese Co., Marco Co-op while also farming.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann, six children, Timothy (Linda), Marathon, Catherine (Brian Williams), Chicago, Jean of Marathon, Edward (Karen Reppe), Mosinee, John (Tammy), Tomahawk, Peter (Cindy) Pembine. He was preceded in death by an infant son Michael in 1963.
He also is survived by ten grandchildren, Melissa (Cory) Gladden, Sarah (Ram) Sanchez, Matthew (Alisha) Lemmer, Michael (Aimee) Lemmer, Jaclyn (Shane) Kauzlaric, Christopher Lemmer, Benjamin (Kaitlyn) Lemmer, Mallory (Nick) Halpin, Cydney Williams, Jessica Schulrud (Autumn); five great grandchildren Raina, Maxwell, Norman, Lila and Henry. He was eagerly awaiting the arrival of two more great grandchildren in the coming months.
As member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church he often served as hospitality minister, lector and money counter. Norman also served as conductor and a district secretary for 17 years for the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Leo’s Court #795, Marathon. He enjoyed going to the EAA Air Show with his sons, fishing, playing cards, spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, listening to polka music, traveling and reading the Bible.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic, Marathon. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Rev. Msgr Joseph Diermeier will preside. Private graveside services will be held.

Tracy Kurszewski
Tracy Kurszewski, 47, of Elderon died unexpectedly in a single vehicle car accident near Eland on Friday, July 27, 2018.
She was born on Jan. 27, 1971, in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Francis and Patricia (Lamb) Warchala.
Tracy grew up on a farm, which instilled a hard work ethic in her from a very young age. On May 8, 2000, Tracy was united in marriage to Richard ‘Big Daddy’ Kurszewski at Mission Lake; he survives.
Following Tracy’s graduation from Amherst High School, she began working at SNE, and after 14 years she decided to become a realtor. Tracy worked for Coldwell Banker and had a real passion for helping others. She also worked Friday nights as a bartender for many years at Mark’s Bar, where she will be remembered for her ability to befriend anyone. She was a good listener and never judged others. Tracy was a humble person and a giving friend, always willing to give anyone the shirt off her back. One of Tracy’s greatest joys was camping with her “camping family,” especially at Lake DuBay. Her camper was her special getaway. She also had a great love for animals.
Tracy is survived by her husband, Richard of Elderon; three children, Cori (fiancé Dan Lepinski) of Junction City, Nikki (fiancé Aaron Peterson) of Florida and Travis (Amanda) of Amherst; six grandchildren, Alex, Hayli, Lincoln, Caleb, Cole and Carson; four siblings, Tim (Marla) Warchala of Plover, Tammy Netzer of Mosinee, Wendy (Peter) Simons of Stevens Point and Sean (Stephanie) Jensen of Amherst; three sisters-in-law, Lisa McCune of Rosholt, Lynette (Scott) of Wittenberg and Linda of Rosholt; one brother-in-law, Randy (Tammy) of Merrill; two aunts, Zonia Warchala of Redding, California, and Judy (Joe) Lamb of Wausau; 12 nieces; 12 nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister in infancy, Mary Warchala, mother and father-in-law, Alex and Judy Kurszewski and one brother-in-law Ron Kurszewski.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. A time to share memories will conclude the visitation on Wednesday.
In keeping with Tracy’s giving nature, her family honored her wish to be a donor.
