TOWN OF BRADLEY — Two people were injured over the weekend after the motorcycle they were riding on struck a bear in Lincoln County, according to police.
The crash happened just after 5 p.m. Saturday on CTH S near Hwy. 51, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. The driver, a 59-year-old Merrill man, and his passenger, a 46-year-old Merrill woman, were transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk before being airlifted to Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
The extent of their injuries has not been released and police did not say if the bear survived the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
