Library to teach patrons how to get digital access to library books

in Community

ROTHSCHILD – Learn how to use the Libby app to checkout and download e-books and audiobooks for free with your library card.

The Marathon County Public Library will offer this free class from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at its Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild.

The Libby app — available for smartphones, tablets and computers — is MCPL’s preferred way to access Wisconsin’s Digital Library, which includes tens of thousands of fiction and non-fiction titles all available for free with a library card. Library staff members will help patrons install the app and show them how to navigate the catalog to browse, check out and download titles.

This event is free and open to the public, with registration required. For more information, call 715-359-6208 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/5532. Registration can also be done by calling 715-359-6208.
