EDGAR — Two people are hospitalized after the pickup they were riding in struck a stranded vehicle parked on the side of the road, police say.
The crash happened just after midnight Sunday morning on Hwy. 29 in Edgar. The stranded vehicle was awaiting a tow and no passengers were inside.
Two passengers in the pickup were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. No names have been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
