Donald “Skip” Lewandoski
Donald “Skip” L. Lewandoski, Jr. of Wausau, 69, husband of Doreen S. Lewandoski, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at home with his loving family at his side after a long fight against prostate cancer.
Skip grew up in Wausau. He was active in scouting and received his Eagle Scout Award. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. His interests included all types of fishing and hunting. He enjoyed staying up North during all seasons. Scuba diving was another of his interests, earning his master diver status. He went on many tropical dive trips, including a shark dive.
His children include Jamie Loduha and Jennifer (Chuck) Evers. He is survived by one grandchild, Braydon Loduha. He is further survived by a sister, Wendy (Dennis) Rodewald and two brothers, David (Barb) Lewandoski, and Jeffrey Lewandoski. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald L. Lewandoski, Sr. and Carol O. (Damp) Lewandoski.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at Brainard Funeral Home – Wausau Chapel, 522 Adams St. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service; all at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park at a later date.

Phyllis Seipp
Phyllis M. Seipp, 97, passed away on Dec. 3, 2018, at Tender Reflections Assisted Living under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Phyllis was born on Oct. 12, 1921, in Dorchester, Wisconsin, to Dr. A.W. Schief and Myrtle (Hibbard) Schief. Her brother was Gordon Schief.
Phyllis married Norman Seipp on Nov. 13, 1948, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Phyllis graduated from Dorchester High School and then attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, for one year. At that point, she decided to pursue a career in nursing and graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield in 1943. Upon graduation, she enlisted in the Army Nursing Corps and was stationed in McKinney, Texas.
After Phyllis’ military service, she worked at Memorial Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, as a surgical nurse. She also worked for a local ENT doctor/surgeon.
After her marriage, she worked for the local VNA. In later years, Phyllis continued her nursing skill, caring for many family members, including her husband, until his time of death.
Music was a big part of Phyllis’ life. She played several musical instruments and especially loved polka music. There was no way she could sit still when one was playing.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family, especially holidays and time spent at the family cottages.
Phyllis was very strong in her Christian faith. She so loved attending the Little White Church in Dorchester and Wesley UMC in Wausau.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Susan (Scott) Orlikowski, Wausau, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Michael (Bonnie) Orlikowski, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Kristina (Robert) Wachholz, Wausau, Wisconsin; great grandchildren, Leo Orlikowski, Chelsea Wachholz, and Brady Wachholz; nephew Michael (Loyce) Schief, Rice Lake, Wisconsin; and nieces, Dana Beyer, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Sara (Linn) Orris, Estes Park, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a..m at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St., Wausau, with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment at Restlawn Memorial Park will follow.

Kenneth Kann
Kenneth G. Kann, 96, of Wausau died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at Aspirus Hospice House.
Kenneth was born on Jan. 5, 1922, in Marshfield to George and Mayme (Schultz) Kann. In 1928, the family moved to Stratford where his father began an oil business. He went to grade school at St. Joseph’s in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School in 1940. He then attended Wausau Business Institute and married Charlotte Bahr, a former neighbor, on May 17, 1941.
He then worked in the office at Marathon Rubber Products during World War II. He was then asked to be co-manager of J.M. Kuebler Co. in Wausau. The business grew from 10 employees to over 220 in 1968.
Upon leaving J.M. Kuebler, then known as Marathon Millwork in 1968, he was employed as office manager and sales representative of Green Bay Packaging until retiring on May 1, 1987. After retiring, he joined his wife, Charlotte, in their antique business, which they both enjoyed.
He was a member of the Wausau Elks Club, Noon Kiwanis Club, and was an United Way volunteer. Kenneth was also a member of St. James Catholic Church since 1941 and was on the building committee of St. Matthew Catholic Church.
For the past 5 ½ years, he has lived at Primrose Retirement Community.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte, on June 13, 2011; three brothers, George, Jerome and Robert; two sisters, Patricia and Mary Jane.
He is survived by one brother, Delford (Florence) of Marshfield; one sister, Carol Felhofer of Marshfield; a son, Gerald “Jug” (Charlotte) Kann, LaCrosse; daughter, Kathleen Kann of Stockton Springs, Maine; four grandchildren, Christopher (Tricia) Rost, Travelers Rest, South Carolina; Kenneth (Deb) Rost, Shafer, Minnesota; Karl (Stephanie) Kann, Lake Barrington, Illinois; and Kurt Kann, Cadott; and 10 great-grandchildren, Stephanie (Matthew), Caleb (Katie), Micah (Samantha), and Noah Rost; Hunter and Thomas Kann; Emma and Abby Rost; Jessie and Aaron Simmons; along with two great-great-grandchildren .
Funeral Mass be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at Church of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, 621 Second St., Wausau, WI 54403. The Rev. Msgr. Mark Pierce will officiate. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Stratford. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at Brainard Funeral Home – Wausau Chapel, 522 Adams St., and again on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Dennis Fehlhaber
Dennis G. Fehlhaber, 66, of Wausau died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital surrounded by his family.
Dennis was born on Aug. 22, 1952, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to the late Lawrence and Joyce (Kniess) Fehlhaber. He married Jane Engman on Nov. 6, 1971, in Wausau. She survives.
Dennis was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He didn’t always have the kindest choice of words but those who knew him, knew he had a heart of gold. He was a jack of all trades, a man who was always the “go-to” person whenever anyone needed something done. He never said no to helping a friend or family member. Dennis was an amazing woodworker and house builder; he was always lending a helping hand. He was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed watching the games while drinking a whiskey old fashion sweet with his puppies Mya and Shylee close by. Dennis and his wife found a second family in Tripoli, Wisconsin, where they spent every summer for the last 17 years. Even while he was supposed to be up North relaxing, he would still be helping someone; he always had to stay busy. But most of all he loved and was very proud of his family and enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Besides his wife, Dennis is survived by his children; Kevin Fehlhaber (Brenda Northcott), Tami Albee (Erika Koch) and his three grandchildren who were his pride and joy; Taylor & Emily Albee and Layla Fehlhaber, mother-in-law; Carol Reich, brothers; Bruce (Claire), Brian (Faye), Jeff (Shelby) and Steven Fehlhaber. Sisters; Barbara Minier, Debbie (Milt) Tiege, Lori (Dana) Weyer, sister-in-laws Mary (Steven) Thornewell, Ann (Tom) Goetsch and Dawn Troyer, brother-in-laws Dale Engman and Glen Patterson and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Dennis was proceeded in death by his parents, his father-in-laws; Dell Engman and Raymond Reich, sister-in-laws; Kathy Fehlhaber, Judy Bargender and Ellie Patterson, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A funeral service for Dennis will take place on Dec. 7, 2018, at 5 p.m. at Brainard Funeral Home Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston, WI 54476. Pastor Dennis Romine will officiate. Jerrilynn Duxbury
Jerrilynn Duxbury, 77, Wausau, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018. She was born Oct. 30, 1941, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Henry Manford Mattson Sr. and Elisabeth Loretta (Keller) Mattson. On July 21, 1962, she was united in marriage to Stephen John Duxbury in Northfield, Wisconsin.
Jerrilynn, or Jerri, as known to friends and family, grew up in a farming community in Ellingson Valley and went through school in Northfield and Hixton, Wisconsin. She then attended Chippewa Valley Technical School in Eau Claire, receiving a certificate in secretarial administration. She moved to Wausau and then worked for Employers Mutual Insurance. For a brief period of time, Laona, Wisconsin, was home with husband Stephen and daughter Stephanie before the family returned to Wausau. She then enjoyed working in early childcare, and later for the Wausau School District as a licensed special education program aide before retiring in 2006.
Jerri enjoyed the outdoors tremendously, especially riding her horses from her first “Boots” to “Lady” and “Bill.” Upon her retirement, she continued to share this joy of horses with her grandchildren. She always looked forward to spending time with them whether they were content to read or asked her to run imaginary bases in a three-man game of baseball. The keepsakes she left behind of these and other memories will be treasured forever.
She is survived by a daughter Stephanie (David) Duxbury-Weir, Kronenwetter; a son Christian (Shannon) Duxbury, Stevens Point; four grandchildren Hannah, Stephen, Mason and Sydney; a sister Renee (Maynard) Miller, Mauston, and an aunt Renata Waldum of Redlands, California. Jerrilynn was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Duxbury, her parents, her brother Henry Jr, and her sister Marguerite.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday Dec. 7, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 630 Adams St., Wausau. The Rev. Dr. Niveen Sarras will officiate. Visitation will precede the service from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church. Final internment will be at Northfield Lutheran Cemetery in Northfield, Wisconsin. Memorials may be directed to the attention of the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Jerrilynn and her battle with this disease. The family, in addition, would like to thank Copperleaf Memory Care for the compassionate care they provided through the last stages of this disease and to Ascension Hospice Care for the final days of benevolent and empathetic attention and support.
Brian Flynn
Brian Flynn, 55, of Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 25, 2018, in his home. He is survived by his six children and three siblings. He was a father, a grandfather, and a friend. He was the best coffee drinker and a wonderful listener. There isn’t a coffee shop around that won’t remember him.
Brian was born on Sept. 10, 1963, and grew up in Marion, Indiana. Brian and his family moved to Wausau, Wisconsin, where he spent the rest of his life. He always talked about going back one day, but liked to say that Wausau was like a black-hole, “Once you get here, you can’t leave.”
Brian enjoyed spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed having cookouts, collecting and working on his cars, playing cribbage, and riding motorcycles. He was always willing to listen to anyone who needed it and often would make everyone feel better with laughter.
Brian always said that when he passed, he didn’t want anyone to mourn him but instead to celebrate his life. He would’ve told everyone to remember him how he was and to talk about the good times. His time here was short, but he touched the lives of so many people. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Forever in our hearts!

Millicent Leder
Millicent A. Leder, our beautiful, loving mother has finally joined Dad in eternal life. Millie was born Sept. 17, 1952, in Colón, Panamá. She married Jerry Leder, the love of her life, three times. He preceded her in death in 2016, and she missed him all the days in between.
Mom was a fun and adventurous woman in her youth. Raised by her grandmother, she had many friends and loved to go dancing. After she met Jerry, they traveled the world and moved from place to place due to his military career, which allowed her to stay home and care for her family. Later in life, she doted on her grandchildren, putzed around in the yard, and listened to Spanish music as loud as she could. She enjoyed spending time with her family and could always be counted on to watch a grandchild or three at any time.
Millie is survived by her loving children, Karen Bocanegra (Josh Owsley) Citrus Springs, Florida; Ivan Pardo, (Panamá); Stephany (Brian) Kita, Weston, Wisconsin; and Kevin (Alexis) Leder, Mosinee Wisconsin, and step-sons, Ryan (Misty) Kline, New Lisbon Wisconsin; and Randy Leder (Mosinee, Wisconsin); grandchildren, Ashley and Bryton Kline, Gabriel Smiley, Dominic Barnes, and Myles Owsley; Amadeus Pardo; Marissa Kita; and Cale, Paige, Adrianna, James and Kyline Leder. She is further survived by her mother Elizabeth Morales (Colón, Panamá); Sisters Arline Rushing (Panamá City, Panamá), Betzabeth Brooks, Jeannette Rushing, (all Colón, Panamá), Nazareth Faleri, (Port Ritchie, Florida); Sandra McDaniel, (Long Island, New York); brothers Wayne Rushing, Roger Rushing and Mark Anthony Rushing, (all Colón, Panamá), and Martín Morales, (New Jersey).

Steven Wysocki
Steven J. Wysocki, 55, died Friday, Nove. 30, 2018, unexpectedly at his home. Steve was born March 23, 1963, to the late Sheron “Jack” and Marion (Burns) Wysocki in Wausau. He met and married the love of his life, Debra Hoffman, on June 27, 1987, a
t St. Therese Catholic Church in Rothschild.
Survivors include his wife, Debra; son, Anthony “AJ” Wysocki, Wausau; daughter, Nicole Wysocki, Wilmington, North Carolina; two sisters, Sherry (Ron) Michelkamp and Betty (Scott) Oleson; and brother, David (Melinda) Wysocki. He was also preceded in death by a son, Matthew Scott Wysocki.

Diane Handrick
Diane Evelyn (Oelke) Handrick, 70, of Marathon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2018, at 3:10 p.m. under the care of St. Croix Hospice at Colonial Center of Colby.
Diane was born Sept. 19, 1948, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to the late Victor and Lucelia (Bruns) Oelke. On Aug. 2, 1969, she married Duane Handrick.
Diane was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed gardening, cooking/baking, reading, going to garage sales and craft shows, taking the occasional trip to the casino and watching her daughters and grandsons participate in sporting events. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She had a handful of part-time jobs but her true calling and greatest joy came from her role as a proud homemaker, a stay-at-home mom and being “Grandma” to Bryce and “Nana” to Cohen and Braham. She was kind and always welcomed friends and family with a smile that could light up a room.
The family has comfort knowing that God embraced her in his arms during her favorite holiday season, Christmas. She loved meticulously decorating the Christmas tree, displaying her collection of old world Santa’s and nutcrackers, making Christmas cookies/candies and always enjoyed the family tradition of making homemade popcorn balls.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Duane, Marathon, her daughters Jody (Kelly) Seubert, Marathon, and Jenell (Chad) Kuehne, Anoka, Minnesota, three grandsons Bryce Seubert, Cohen Kuehne and Braham Kuehne, her brother Donald (Sue) Oelke, Lake Nokomis, Wisconsin, and sister Nancy (Rudy) Zimbauer, Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin, as well as many other family and friends who loved her dearly.
The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Center of Colby and St. Croix Hospice for the love and care Diane received during her time with them.
The visitation and funeral service will take place Saturday, Dec. 8, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 206 Hemlock St., Marathon. The Rev. Jon Hadler will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. to noon. The funeral service will begin at noon, followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, Marathon.

Edward Tryba
Edward Frank Tryba, 91, after living a full life, died in his sleep at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Dec. 2, 2018, after a 5 ½ year courageous struggle with dementia while under the care of Aspirus Palliative and Hospice Services.
He was born at the family home in the town of Reid on July 24, 1927, to Benjamin and Johanna (Dallman) Tryba. He was raised on that family farm along with four brothers and five sisters.
He was united in marriage to Florence Wilk on Nov. 23, 1949, at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley, and recently they celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. ogether they had three children.
After leaving the family farm in 1954, he got his CDL license and he drove a truck for Beyreis Fur Food until they closed. He then worked at SNE Enterprises (along with farming) before “retiring” in 1989. He may have retired from the work force but not work. Even after retirement he worked part time at Hatley Veneer Co., but farming was in his blood. His big hands gladly did any job necessary on his farm, which he and Florence purchased in 1968. It was home to him because it was across the field from the farm he was born. After selling the herd, he still baled hay and even enjoyed gardening (even if he didn’t like vegetables).
Not only was Ed a workaholic, he was a man with a big gold heart. He had amazing patience, never complained, and appreciated the little things in life because he said “Thank You” a lot. He would make sure his “special” daughter, Diane, was taken good care of. He would gladly drop whatever he was doing to help someone in need, even if it meant leaving his work behind. His skills as a woodsman, carpenter, mechanic, plumber, etc. came in handy and was much appreciated by all his family and friends. His only fault was he had a sweet tooth (that would make any dentist cringe), and ferocious appetite that kept Florence busy in the kitchen for hours.
Ed wasn’t all work and no play. He enjoyed polka music, a cold beer, Chet & Emil’s chicken, deer hunting (until macular degeneration stole his vision), the outdoors, especially “adventure“ walks in the woods with Zach and listening to Brewers games on the radio. In 2002, he was able to attend a game in the new stadium with his grandson before his eyes went bad.
Ed is survived by his wife of 69 years, Florence, children, Darlene A. Jacobson, Pickerel, Diane F. Tryba at home and Darrell (Kim) Tryba, Hatley, five grandsons, Neil E. (Heather) Jacobson, Hatley, Robert L. (Darlene) Jacobson, Birnamwood, Matthew J. Jacobson, Wausau, Mark A. (Amanda) Jacobson, Wausau, Zachariah D. Tryba, Wausau, three great grandsons, Nathan T. Jacobson, Carson VandeWalle and Cameron R. Jacobson, two brothers, Daniel (Alvira) Tryba, Hatley and John Tryba, Sheboygan, one sister, Johanna Landowski, Ringle and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his only granddaughter, Marie Kees, son-in-law, Orville Jacobson, brothers: Joseph and Anthony Tryba, sisters, Matti Hack, Lucille Blarek, Delores Wilk and Grace Wilk.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. The Rev. Augsutine Bentil will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Ross Lyon
Ross A. Lyon, 34, Kronenwetter, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at his home.
He was born May 20, 1984, in Wausau, son of Lance and Lori (France) Lyon, Wausau. On Oct. 10, 2015, he married Sarah Gwidt at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. She survives.
Ross was a graduate of D.C. Everest Senior High School and graduated from WYOTECH in Laramie, Wyoming, with a degree in automotive and business technology. He had been employed as an auto technician at Mountain Bay Automotive and since 2013, had been employed with Dakota Supply Group as inside sales.
Ross was all about the outdoors and action—from hunting to racing to snowmobiling to attending local stock car races—he enjoyed it all. Above all else, his little girl was the light of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah, his daughter, Bristol, his puppy, Zoey, parents, Lance and Lori, brothers, Tyler (Jessi) Lyon and their son, Oakley, and Aaron Lyon, grandmother, Ruth Lyon (Bill Frieders), mother and father-in-law, Dave and Sharon Gwidt, brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Amber Gwidt and their children, Evan and Alivia, grandmother-in-law, Clara Literski, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and several close friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and Ruby France, Dawn France, Don Lyon, Jim and Sandra Gwidt and Herman Literski, aunts, Laurie Ellis and LouAnn Gille and an uncle, Gerald France.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

Genevieve Joswiak
Genevieve E. Joswiak, 90, Marathon, died Dec. 1, 2018, at Copperleaf Assisted Living of Marathon surrounded by her family.
She was born July 28, 1928, in the town of Emmett to the late John M. and Ramona (Dahlke) Kamenick. On Oct. 28, 1950, she married Alfred L. “Buddy” Joswiak at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. He preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 2017.
Genevieve was a faithful and active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cassel for more than 68 years. She was also a long time member of the Marathon American Legion Auxiliary.
Genevieve and Buddy were the owners/operators of a grocery store and meat processing plant, Country Home Locker, in the town of Cassel. She also worked at Marathon Cheese Corp. for more the 20 years until her retirement.
Genevieve said she was most proud of being married to a great man for more than 67 years. She provided the strong support at home that her husband needed so he could provide so much service to his community. Genevieve was a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Besides her husband and parents, Genevieve was preceded in death by a son, Michael, six sisters, Ethel Masanz, Lucille Wehba, Florence Wallace, Eileen St. Pierre, Anita Jagodinski and Marie Koss; a brother, John; and three grandchildren, Benjamin, Cody and Alivia Joswiak.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cassel. Rev. Felix Tigoy and Rev. Robert Streveler will preside. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a rosary service at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Peterson-Kramer Funeral Home in Marathon.

Edward Crotteau
Edward D. Crotteau, Schofield, passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2018, at Atrium of Weston Post Acute Care Nursing Home. He was born to the late Ernest and Myrtle (Pike) on April 10, 1925. He served proudly in the United States Navy aboard the USS Donald from May 22, 1944, to May 22, 1946, during World War II in the Pacific Theater as a Seaman Second Class.
Following World War II, he studied cabinet making and worked as a cabinet maker for the DeLisle Co. until his retirement. Edward was passionate about working with wood. He married the love of his life Virginia A. (Salvador) Nov. 15, 1947. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 2009.
Edward had the opportunity to take the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., on Sept. 28, 2015. His hobbies included building remote control model airplanes and flying them, along with model railroads, bird watching, hunting, fishing, Boy Scout outings, but most of all attending all of his grandchildren’s activities and events; they were his pride and joy.
He is survived by his children; John Crotteau( Paula ) and Michael Crotteau, grandchildren; Kevin, Robyn and Megan Crotteau, Katie (Matt Schulz) Crotteau, Joshua (Vicki Barnett) Crotteau, Melissa Crotteau, one great- grandson, James Campbell and daughter-in-law Eva Katahira, sisters in law – Lillian Krause & Maribeth Schultz, many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and son Mark.
A private family memorial service will be held.

Dona Brunnecker
Dona M. Brunnecker, 75, Mattoon, died on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on July 18, 1943, in Mattoon, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Frieda (Scholz) Parmer.
On Nov. 10, 1962, Dona was united in marriage to Vilas Brunnecker in Mattoon. He survives.
Dona was employed at Wisconsin Veneer and Plywood for many years until her retirement. Dona enjoyed traveling, visiting and cooking and was a Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Dona especially enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandkids’ school activities.
Survivors include her husband, Vilas; two daughters, Lottie (Terry) Bucholtz of Bowler and Sandy (Steven) Abler of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Alex) Hable, Jared Hable, Manda Bucholtz, Sawn (Kayla) Bucholtz, Robert (Julia) Abler, Stephen Abler and Cody (Stacia) Abler; eight great-grandchildren, Jace, Silas, Lillian, Carter, Chloe, Callie, Parker and Brend and three brothers, Lee (Irma) Parmer of Mattoon, Howard (Valerie) Parmer of Birnamwood and Dave (Sherrie) Parmer of Oklahoma.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Rev. Myron “Myke” Christensen will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, town of Hutchins. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
