WAUSAU — Police on Friday responded en masse to a home on the city’s southeast side to search for stolen property, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.

The home is near the intersection of Ruder Street and Roosevelt Street.

Marathon County Chief Deputy Chad Billeb said officers were at the home to serve a search warrant related to a theft case.

“The items they were looking for are large and required additional manpower for collection and processing in the event they found them,” Billeb said.

At least one person was arrested and officers did seize items from the home. No other details have been released.
