WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
SCHOFIELD — Rescue crews are responding to a report of a passenger lying in the roadway on Grand Avenue, according to scanner traffic.
The incident was reported at about 7:20 p.m. at 662 Grand Avenue in Schofield. There’s no word on the severity of the victim’s injuries at this time.
The initial call indicated the man was struck by a passing motorist, but witnesses tell Wausau Pilot and Review a man slipped on the ice and fell into the roadway.
